Event Management

Kim’s project and event management skills are one of the most sought after of all of the services provided by From The Ground Up! in Research Triangle Park, Raleigh, Durham and other areas of the State of North Carolina. She has over 20 years of experience in bringing together a team of experts depending on the needs of the client and the project. These long-term relationships allow for a smooth course of action while maintaining the quality and affordability her clients desire and expect.

While most of her clients initially contract with From The Ground Up! to organize a specific event, they sometimes realize other services are needed before the event takes place. That’s because Kim takes the time to listen to the client’s “want list” and then recommends options they may not have ever considered. Besides the usual items needed for certain events, Kim can see the potential need for branding/rebranding, collaterals, social media audit/analysis, website design/redesign, especially when it pertains to non-profit organizations.

That’s when the team of experts “move in” and Kim is at the helm organizing schedules, meetings, follow-ups with the client and major time management literally From The Ground Up! She is the point of contact for her client, therefore eliminating adding more “duties” for them to handle.

Read testimonials that highlight how her extended services have saved them considerable time for their already busy schedules. Event & project management and consulting is what From The Ground Up! is all about!

Non-Profit Event Consulting

Non-profit groups often times host a fundraising event to raise money (one time) not realizing this is an opportune time to raise awareness of their organizations. More awareness – more money. Just ask The ALS Association – Jim “Catfish” Hunter Chapter. This Chapter was literally being managed out of the trunk of a car and was on the national organizations list of Chapters to shut down. They gave us one more shot to keep this Chapter operational. Because of the Inaugural Black Tie Gala and awareness campaign in 2002, the annual Walk to DeFeat and future gala revenue increased. We raised over $400,000 at the Inaugural 2002 Gala. Soon after, The Catfish Classic, their annual golf tournament was born. They now offer patient services, a loan closet, transportation services, as well as fund four (4) ALS Certified Clinics across the State of North Carolina – Wake Forest, Duke, Greenville & Charlotte. The initial awareness campaign has been utilized in some way since 2002.
